Northern Fuel Partners
Northern Fuel Partners (NFP) is a partnership between Souris River Cooperative and Farmers Union Oil of Westhope. The company began operations on January 1, 2009 and was created to provide more efficient delivery of bulk fuels and propane. Souris River Cooperative holds a 22% stake while Farmers Union Oil has 78% ownership.
The partnership currently operates bulk fuel and propane plants in Bottineau, Westhope and Newburg, along with a new bulk fuel plant just east of Souris. All locations are in Bottineau County, North Dakota.
